We particularly like the rather ingenious diagonal wall that runs down the right side of the building. The rest of this section is spent building walls and adding a plethora of interior details. These are much smaller to accommodate than the mezzanine, but really look the part, providing a forced perspective to make the staircase look larger than it really is. The bannister comes together with a rather ingenious use of Bar Holders with Clips pieces and towards the end of the ground floor build, you tackle the stairs that branch left and right. You build up the walls forming the hidden sections that will ultimately sit beneath the mezzanine before progressing onto the grand staircase. You begin by tackling the 32 by 32-stud baseplate, using lots of grey, square tiles to form the pavement and more tiles to form the attractive checkered tiling on the Sanctum’s ground floor. You start from the baseplate and work upwards the linear nature of the build is extremely enjoyable and as always, the Minifigures are evenly spread throughout. Each booklet deals with one of the three floors. If you have any questions just send me a message. The build is spread across 18 bagged sections, further divided via three separate instruction booklets. The instruction consist of five PDFs (74 mb), two XML file partlists to buy the bricks you need. " GRUNDSTEIN_Magicans_Hideout_V2-0 " (1546 Parts) (Note: All parts included in the Set are not included in this wanted list) " GRUNDSTEIN_Magicans_Hideout with Set 76108_V2-0 " (811 parts) You'll If you already own the Set and want to use it's parts, use partlist : Therefore, the Instructions come with 2 XML- files for ordering parts. Since this is a modification of Set 76108, it shares a lot of common parts with the set. You can also put the tiled street on the back of the build to use it as front, if you like. The back fits best into a style which I would call "Downtown- Style" including the obligatory escape- ladder. The front of the building resembles a manorial city house. You'll find everything you need for dark rituals up here, probably. Up here, a magican has found a hidden home which can only be accessed with a secret, foldable ladder. The upper floor has a freshly moved in student- flat with desk, bed, moving boxes and pizza on the floor. Restaurants like this can be found around each corner in German city- centers.

The ground floor is home to a takeaway- kepab restaurant. It turns the original dollhouse- style set 76108 into a regular modular build with detachable floors. It's 28.8 cm high, 12.8 cm wide and 25.6 cm deep. This half- wide modular is a modification of the Lego set 76108 "Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown".
